OUR LABOR,
OUR MOVEMENT
Region 6 Organizer Training Program
Our Labor, Our Movement (OLOM) is the Region 6 Organizer Training Program for developing a new generation of organizers who are ready to build — and win — worker-led organizing campaigns on a massive scale.
In UAW Region 6, members across multiple industries recognize the importance and potential of new organizing for building a fighting labor movement that has the power needed to take on the corporate class, win social justice, and advance a sustainable future. Workers in Region 6 are currently organizing dozens of campaigns comprising more than 80,000 workers in every sector and area of the region — and more are joining the movement every day.
In order to meet the needs, energy, and urgency of the moment, it is critical to build strong new generations of skilled organizers who can support worker-led campaigns both now and into the future. Our Labor, Our Movement (OLOM) is a program built to equip new organizers with knowledge, practical experience, mentorship, and peer support that can be put to use building a fighting labor movement.
